Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 6, 2026

This policy explains what personal data siliXon ("siliXon", "we", "us") collects when you use our website, dashboard, and electronics design platform (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. Contact us any time at hello@silixon.io.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data — your name, email address, and username when you register, and your password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider).
  • Google sign-in data— if you choose "Continue with Google", Google shares your name, email address, and profile picture with us to create and sign you into your account. We do not receive your Google password, contacts, files, or any other Google account content.
  • Content — the projects, designs, files, and prompts you create or upload while using the Service.
  • Usage and log data — technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and actions taken, used for security, debugging, and improving the Service.
  • Newsletter — your email address if you subscribe to updates on our website.

2. How we use your data

  • To provide, operate, and secure the Service and your account.
  • To communicate with you about your account, such as verification and important service notices.
  • To understand how the Service is used and improve it.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Google user data

siliXon's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google sign-in data is used only to authenticate you and personalise your account, and is never sold or used for advertising.

4. Who we share data with

We share data only with the service providers that run our infrastructure, and only to the extent needed to operate the Service:

  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
  • Google — sign-in with Google (if you use it).
  • Vercel and Render — application hosting.
  • Our transactional email provider — account and service emails.

We may also disclose data if required by law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case this policy continues to apply to your data).

5. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing hello@silixon.io; we will delete it within 30 days except where we must retain it by law.

6. Cookies and local storage

The Service uses browser local storage to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, authentication is handled by a dedicated provider, and access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — please use a strong, unique password.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under UK and EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@silixon.io. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. If a change is material we will give you reasonable notice (for example by email or an in-product notice). The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
